What to expect

If you’re interested in what specific, corrective chiropractic care can do for you then we’re interested in helping. At MHC we take every new patient through a three day process where we’ll work with you to address your concerns and determine if we can get you results. If we can’t, we’ll help you find someone who can. It’s simple – just fill out our New Patient Application. We’ll examine you, review your health history and create a plan together to help you on your wellness journey.

Our goal is to find the underlying cause of your health concern and remove any interference, that will allow your body to function and heal at 100% so that you can reach your potential and fulfill your purpose.

Your new patient exam

On your first visit, you will need to fill out our new patient application. It can be found HERE or we can email it to you upon scheduling. This will allow you to complete it in the comfort of your own home. When you arrive for your first visit, we’ll be able to get started without any delays.

You’ll sit down with our doctor to discuss the following:

  • Your current health concerns
  • Your health goals
  • What is possibly stopping you from reaching your potential

After your consultation we will do a physical examination and if we find it necessary we’ll take X-rays to work towards finding the true cause of your issues. If you have completed your paperwork ahead of time, the visit will take a total of 45 minutes. If you choose to fill it out when you arrive, you can plan on being here for about 60 minutes.

Your report of findings

On your second visit, we recommend you and your spouse or significant other to come and review your exam and x-rays findings. This is where we will teach you how to “be the doctor” and how to interpret your own x-rays to allow you to be educated and informed about why you are having the health challenges that you are experiencing. Once we establish that we can help you. You will be shown pre-adjustment warm up exercises and your first spinal corrective adjustment will be performed. If there are any further testing that needs to be done, we will discuss that with you prior to do so.

Doctors report

On your third visit, you’ll come in for a group education orientation, otherwise known as the Doctor’s Report. We’ll explain the cause of your problem and how we can help to fix it. We will explain the process of care and what it takes to reach your health goals. If you are committed to doing what it takes to get the results you want, we will go over a specialized plan just for you.

This visit is the most important visit in our office and may take up to 2 hours.

Your routine visits

On your regular visits with us, you’ll begin your appointment with doing your corrective care warm-up exercises. Afterwards, you’ll receive a specific corrective chiropractic adjustment based from your X-rays. After your adjustment, you will use our vibe plates to help hold your adjustment and accelerate the corrective process.

You’ll also receive a home care kit within two weeks of your care that will allow you to progress in the corrective process even when you’re not in our office. This kit will help keep your spine healthy for the rest of your life.
